WELCOME HOME // THE RETREAT
We always knew that one day we would want to evolve Welcome Home in to something bigger and to offer some sort of residential option.. but we also know that there are many residential workshops to choose from so we wanted to create something that we knew we would want to attend.. something that got us excited..
We have been shooting weddings now for 7 years. We adore it we really do but we felt, as photographers.. we weren't defined by it. We wanted a conversation, we wanted theory, we wanted experimentation, we wanted discussion, we wanted art, passion, inspiration, knowledge. We wanted to engage with photography in lots of different forms, step out of our normal, step out of weddings and explore and indulge in our creative voice..
And we heard it from others too. All in love and thankful for their jobs but things can get stale, work can get one dimensional, industries can get suffocating. So we wanted to escape.. to light other sparks.. to feel challenged.. to exercise our eye and our brains..
We are SO excited to introduce THE RETREAT...
