FAQ

HOW LONG IS THE WORKSHOP?

Welcome Home is a one day workshop from 10am until 6pm and once the workshop is finished we tend to head to a nearby pub for dinner and drinks.

DO I NEED TO BE A PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER WITH MY OWN BUSINESS TO ATTEND?

Nope, not at all.  In fact you don’t even need to be a photographer.  We are happy to say that Welcome Home will apply to everyone. The workshop is a happy and supportive space and is an inspiration for how you approach all areas of your life, not just your business. So anyone with an urge to be creative, to take pictures or to run their own business will get just as much out of it.

DO I NEED TO BRING A CAMERA?

Its not compulsory to bring a camera, some attendees do and want to document as much as possible, others are happy to sit and listen and process what happens.  It’s totally your call.

WILL WE GET FED AND WATERED?

Yes definitely.. you’ll get as much tea/coffee/other beverages that you can drink and we provide lunch and snacks throughout the day.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST AND CAN I PAY IN INSTALMENTS?

The workshop is £400 (in the UK) and that can either be paid in full or in two instalments.  To pay in instalments we ask half as a booking fee to reserve your place and the other half is due a week before the workshop.  Please contact us for more details.  If for any reason you need to cancel your place.. the booking fee is non refundable but can be used to transfer to a future workshop.

CAN WE BLOG ABOUT THE WORKSHOP AFTERWARDS?

Yes definitely, we encourage everyone to share their experience, what we do ask is that you link back to the Welcome Home website and credit any images as being taken at the Welcome Home Workshop.

CAN I COME TO WELCOME BREAK?

Welcome Break is an annual retreat available to all homies.

WHEN IS THE NEXT WELCOME HOME?
