Dawn and Mark... back to the balmy days of summer! how this incredible, rustic, festival inspired wedding soared in the heights of warm sunny days!
They married in the delicious surroundings of the Worcestershire countryside where Dawn grew up. The wedding ceremony was at their local family church, The Church of the Good Shepherd, then onto Dawn's parents farm for their relaxed festival reception where they planned and DIY decorated everything themselves, from homemade bunting, stencil banners and wooden signs from reclaimed wood from Dawns dad’s chicken sheds! , vintage flags, crates/suitcases, deckchairs, coffee sacks, tins/jars, old milk bottles with advertising on bought from car boots. Borrowed hay bales from a family friend. Festoon lighting and coconut shy, from ebay. DIY dress up area made and put together ourselves. Candelabras, plastic animals, joke bags, storm lanterns, retro pineapple and apple ice cube holders, plastic parrots for bar, croquets pillows and blankets in woven baskets, scrabble letters and stands, stepladders, again all from car boot sales. Giant industrial cable reels which were used as tables in the seating area found in on Dawns dads farm! 6 oak whiskey barrels for tables outside and tin baths for beers also from car boot sales.
Dawn made all the stationary herself as she is a stationary designer.
Dawns dress was from Luellas Boudoir in London, a creation called Maria by Odulay. Marks suit was from Aquascutum. Catering was by Bishops catering and the magical duck herding was by The Amazing Quack pack!
A big thank you to Dawn and Mark for letting us share your impeccable vision for your home made country festival inspired wedding extravaganza!
